In the first place, I would suggest you break down what you really need from your trip to Paros.

If your target is to relax, read a book on the beach, or stroll through some idyllic alleys, I would suggest you avoid the main villages of Naoussa or Parikia. Naoussa, especially, is very noisy during the peak season. In any case, if you want to be nearby, but not in the middle of action, choose a hotel or Airbnb, which is not situated in central areas.

On the other side, if you are visiting Paros for parties, Naoussa is your best choice! You don’t need to look further! Only budget reasons will turn you to other choices.

I personally love Naoussa, but my favorite place is Aliki. I am not a party guy, and I suffer from noisy and loud places. Aliki is a fishing village, and it can offer authentic Greek hospitality away from the masses.

If you are into discovering natural wonders, give a visit to Livadia, Piso Livadia, or even Prodomos and Marpissa.

If you have a car, you can save some money and rent a room in smaller villages than Naoussa and Parikia since both of these are the main villages of the island. If you don’t have a car, simply choose one of these.

The main port of the island is in Parikia. If you decide to stay there, you won’t even need a taxi to take you to your accomodation! Most of the time, you can make it by walking. However, If you are considering moving around the island with public transportation, Parikia should be your main choice.

If you are into more luxury, only Naoussa can offer you that upscale.
