Paros does not have an international airport, so if you are flying from other countries, keep in mind that you have to reach Greece’s capital city Athens, first. There is, however, a domestic airport on the island, which means that daily flights are available from Athens, after which you can catch a ferry or domestic flight to Paros.

The prices for the flights can vary, depending on the season and the flight company, ranging from 120€ to 200€ per person, one way. Ferry boat prices cost around 49€ per person, one way, but there can be a small discount if you book a round trip ticket. There are multiple daily ferries from Piraeus (the mainland Athens port), as well as from nearby Cycladic islands, and they are serviced by the companies Blue Star Ferries, Minoan Lines, Seajets, and Fast Ferries.

If you are on a budget and you would like to save money, you can book on the overnight ferry boats. You might save at least up to 30%-50% off the normal price. Of course, you will have to sleep on the deck (not an easy night), but you will save enough for a night’s accommodation on the island.

There are ferries arriving at the port at 3:00 p.,. after midnight that are not so popular, but are very cheap.

For long island hopping, book the Eurail/Interrail pass, which includes specific ferry and train companies you can use in Europe. The Greek ferry companies included are Blue Star and Hellenic Seaways. Those are slower ferries and may require that you connect somewhere, depending on your destination.
