The Old Fortress of Corfu, a Venetian architectural marvel, was constructed on a rocky peninsula by the Venetians in the 16th century. It stands as one of the most scenic and significant landmarks on the island. With an entrance fee of only 3€, it’s an unmissable attraction, particularly for the breathtaking panoramic views it provides.

Climb to the top of the fortress to enjoy some amazing views to the old town and the Ionian Sea. It’s a steep but short climb that is definitely worth it!

The fortress holds rich historical and cultural significance and is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

While exploring the fort, be sure not to miss the visit to the British Church of Saint George.
