Pelion offers it all, whether you prefer summer or winter, mountains or beaches. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or a beach aficionado, Pelion has something for everyone. Mount Pelion truly has everything you could desire.

From the lush forests teeming with diverse wildlife and cascading waterfalls, to the stone-built houses and charming alleys, all the way to the stunning beaches with clear turquoise waters perfect for relaxation and reading a book.

A few years ago, I might have called it a hidden gem, but that’s no longer the case. Today, it’s not overrun by tourists, but it became slowly more popular over the years. So, if you’re someone who prefers to steer clear of mass tourism spots, then Pelion could be your ideal holiday destination.

Visiting Pelion in winter offers the opportunity to ski on the organized lifts and slopes of Mount Pelion.

During May/June and September/October, it’s still the low season, making it ideal for nature lovers to hike. The weather is pleasantly warm, allowing for swimming at the numerous beaches, often without the crowds of tourists.

The region boasts some of Greece’s finest cuisine, renowned for its delicious flavors. A visit here promises a culinary experience that is sure to satisfy.
