Pelion – A Four Seasons Destination
Mount Pelion has it all! Literally everything you may need.
From lush forests with abundant and diverse nature, waterfalls, stone-built houses, and picturesque alleys, to the stunning clear turquoise beaches where you can relax and read your book.
A few years back, I would have called it a hidden gem — but not anymore. Today, it simply remains one of those destinations that isn’t overrun by tourists. If you’re the type of person who wants to avoid the usual mass tourism spots, then Pelion might just be your next holiday destination.
If you visit during the winter, you can even go skiing on the organized ski lifts and slopes of Mount Pelion.
In May/June or September/October, it’s still low season. You can go hiking if you’re a nature lover — the weather is pleasant, not too hot, and you can swim at the many beaches, some of which you might even have entirely to yourself, far from the crowds.
You’ll also find some of the best food in Greece here. The region is famous for its delectable cuisine, so if you come here to eat, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
