The island is quite small; it takes only an hour to travel from one end to the other, yet it offers a vast array of sights and activities. Determining the ideal number of days for a trip can be challenging.

While everyone has their unique preferences and tastes, to fully embrace all that Milos has to offer, one might argue that even a week may not suffice on the island.

For a more relaxed atmosphere on the island, without the pressure to visit every attraction, a minimum stay of five nights is ideal. This duration will provide ample time to explore the key sights and enjoy the picturesque beaches.

Just imagine that there are over 70 amazing beaches with blue turquoise waters on the island, most of them unique with beautiful volcanic rock formations. You will need to spend a whole day at the incredible Sarakiniko beach. There is no way to visit all of them on your first visit.

There are also many picturesque and charming fishing villages that are worth spending two days exploring them one by one.

Milos offers an abundance of remarkable activities, and it’s advisable to extend your stay to experience as much as possible.
