Koronisia – Your ultimate destination for serenity and relaxation.

A road floating on water is a sight to behold. The 20km stretch, seemingly suspended above the sea, is the highlight of the journey. It serves as a connector between Arta and Koronisia across the Ambracian Gulf.

Koronisia is a complex of tiny islands that will make you feel like you’re in the tropical “Maldives”!

The largest island known as Pera is a fishing village with fewer than 200 permanent residents. The houses sit on a hill overlooking the Ambracian Gulf, creating a surreal and idyllic setting with untouched nature.

The area is home to endangered bird species, including the third largest colony of silver pelicans in Europe, as well as migratory birds, like cormorants, kingfishers, herons and flamingos, adding exotic colors to the area. You also may have the opportunity to eat the freshest fish of your life.

There are only a few hotels and apartments in the area, so it is recommended to book ahead.
