Keri Town and Keri Cape are located on the southernmost part of Zakynthos Island, and they are prominently featured in most travel guides, for good reason. Keri Town is often confused with Keri Lake Beach, which is near the port.To prevent any confusion, it’s worth noting that the area around Keri Town offers several attractions, including the Keri Cape viewpoint, Keri Lighthouse, the largest Greek flag, Marathonisi Island, and the Keri Caves.

Keri Cape is a breathtaking cliff spot, most notable for the two rocks protruding from the sea. The viewpoint is spectacular and can only be reached on foot after parking. A few kilometers from the village, you can see the largest flag in Greece, which earned a Guinness World Record in 2007 for its dimensions of 18.10 m x 36.90 m, totaling an area of 670 m².

Very close to the flag is the lighthouse, a 30-meter high structure with a rich history and amazing views of the Ionian Sea.

If you decide to stay overnight in Keri town, you can also visit Marathonisi island.
