Moussaka is a traditional Greek layered oven casserole dish, made with vegetables and minced meat.

Cooking Moussaka can be a complex and time-consuming task, often requiring 2-3 hours in the kitchen. The classic moussaka consists of layered eggplant slices, cheese, and meat sauce, crowned with a rich béchamel sauce. Yet, variations include potatoes, zucchini, or a mix of vegetables.
