Anafi Island could be your next destination for an authentic Cycladic experience!

There is a legend that the Greek god of Apollo revealed Anafi to the Argonauts to provide them with a shelter on their journey back from Colchis, in present-day Georgia.

This tiny volcanic island, lacking its own airport, makes it a small unspoiled treasure away from the masses of the most commercial islands, even if it’s located near to popular Santorini.

With its natural beauty, tranquility, and warm hospitality Anafi offers the perfect settings for a relaxing vacation and a true Cycladic experience.

Chora, the island’s capital, is built on the slopes of high mountains, at an altitude of 200 meters offering a unique natural landscape and stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Chora serves as the hub of the island’s activity, with most of the restaurants, bars and facilities located there.

The island’s beaches are scenic! Whether shingle or sandy, they always reward the visitor with calming moments by the sea.

One of the must do activities on the island is hiking! Anafi’s most impressive feature is the gigantic and awe-inspiring rock, Kalamos which stands at 460 meters high, second in size only to the Gibraltar Rock.
